Police certificates and police checks
A police certificate is a report of a person’s criminal history; a police check is the
process of checking a person’s criminal history. The two terms are often used
interchangeably in aged care. These checks help an organisation to protect and to minimise the risk, to the best of their ability, to vulnerable people.
There are few organization which can help you in getting the police check
As a nurse, midwife or health professional, it’s common to purchase work-related items and pay for them yourself. And these out-of-pocket expenses are often valid tax deductions for nurses, and claimable on your next tax return.
To become an Aged Care Worker you are generally required to complete a qualification in individual support or undertake a traineeship. Complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) (CHC33015) at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation.
In addition to above, there is list of areas that a student can study in Aged Care.
